• Field Operations: Served on three joint task forces (gangs, narcotics, sex offenders) and was a narcotics detection K-9 handler.

• Training & Instruction: Served as a P.O.S.T. certified firearms and defensive tactics instructor. Developed and led the department's firearms academy.

• Management & Leadership: Managed field services, institutional services, and human resources. Oversaw administrative investigations, hiring/backgrounds, training, grievances, and labor union relations.
